Here you can view the slideshow from Javid's memorial. We've been trying to get it into as compact of a size as possible, but both options available here are still rather large. Accessing either properly will probably require at least a DSL connection, sorry...

Another option is to click here to view an on-line Flash version of the slideshow. This is nice if you've got a rather fast Internet connection and would prefer not to download the whole show. It also allows you to scroll backward and forward. The initial loading screen doesn't seem to do anything for a bit, but if you're patient it will suddenly start working when "Loading Screencast" reaches 10 percent.
Finally, if you'd rather download a copy to view on your desktop, click here. Be forewarned that the file is a little over 30MB large. There are two advantages to downloading: it only needs to be downloaded once and the resulting "show" is full screen ... by far the nicest for viewing. Once downloaded, simply double-click on the file, called "javid.slideshow.exe" and it should run automatically.
* For anyone that's interested, the two songs playing in the background are:
"Arriba del cielo" (Above the Sky), a traditional Mexican
lullaby sung by Claudia Martinez. It's from the
Dreamland CD produced by Putumayo.
"Somewhere Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World" is sung by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. It's from his album Facing Future.
There's also a short audio clip in the middle that's the intro to a CD we made for Javid to listen to us reading Dr. Seuss stories. We're still shopping it around to the major labels...
